Fiona Kerr

Osteopath, Clinical Pilates Instructor, Osteopathic Pelvic Institute Birth Preparation Trained

Working as both a qualified Osteopath and passionate Pilates instructor, Fiona loves being able to work with her clients both on and off the treatment table to get the best results possible. Fiona’s passion for Osteopathy began with her involvement in rowing which led to a keen interest in injury prevention and management. Spending four years at an amateur football club as a sports trainer, Fiona continued to expand her knowledge of sporting injuries and understanding the demands sport has on the human body.

She’s always loved working with women and had a special passion for supporting them through their pre and post natal periods. Now a mum myself, I know firsthand the physical and emotional journey of pregnancy, birth, and early motherhood. I want to create a space where women feel heard and supported through pregnancy, while also receiving expert, compassionate care and advice to physically and mentally prepare them for labour and birth.

Fiona encourages her clients to take an active role in their own health and wellbeing, and loves being able to use Pilates and Clinical Exercise classes as a way to teach her clients that movement is medicine. Since playing football herself, Fiona saw first hand the importance of staying strong and mobile to proactively avoid injury and perform at your best.

When Fiona’s not helping clients at Collective Motion, you’ll find her hanging out with her son and her dog Basil, watching the Bombers play, or reading a good book

Fiona currently treats on a Tuesday morning, Thursday afternoon, all day Fridays and Saturday mornings.
